Who are we?

Kyle, Leigh & our pup Kennedy here. We are recently married, from Denver, and have just started a new chapter of our life together. In September 2019, we moved out of our Colorado comfort zone, driving down to the southern most point of Baja California Sur, to Los Cabos, Mexico.

How?

Both working for our companies in the States, we have full-time jobs in the digital industry and have the amazing freedom to work from anywhere that has a WiFi signal. We are part of, what today calls, the ‘digital nomad’ movement.

Why?

Why not? There is no time like the present and we decided to seize an opportunity that was too good to pass up. We were not quite ready to settle down in suburbia but also not enough to quit our jobs to go backpacking in Europe. So instead we found ourselves somewhere in the middle: moving to Mexico. We could drive, our pup Kennedy could join in on the fun, we could keep our jobs, and we already knew a lot about Cabo. So this is where we landed and where we will be living… until we’re not.

What made you start this blog?

We have talked about writing a blog for a long time, but late night TV show binges and hours of aimless social media scrolling managed to steal our attention… until now! This new experience is a chance for us to disconnect from our routine. We’re ready to unwind, slow it all down, and soak it all in… and of course, share our first-hand experiences for whoever is so inclined to join us for the ride.
