It’s been a year… a whole year since our friends and family flew from all over, down to Mexico, to celebrate our wedding over a long weekend with us. Who would have thought just 365 days later, we would be relaxing in our Cabo home, on our 1st anniversary, reminiscing that special day?
Thankfully, the weather was perfect on November 17th, 2018. Sunny, warm, humidity free…. bug free. This November 17th, not so much. We’re sitting here drinking mimosas and itching our mosquito bites as Tropical Storm Raymond pounds down on Cabo San Lucas.

While the rain has kept us inside most of the weekend, it has allowed us to kick back and publish our blog. And for that, we are very thankful.
It’s not easy to stop and take a moment to reflect. Sometimes all you want to do after a long work day is watch a bit of crap TV and scroll through nonsense on Instagram.
However one of the main reasons we moved to Mexico was to take on a new lifestyle, living and learning through new experiences together (what a better way to test the limits on our new marriage, right?!). So far its been a roller-coaster but we’re enjoying the ride together. And now, through this blog, we’ll share the ride of this experience with you!
In the spirit of slowing down, we realized we never shared out some of the magical moments from our wedding. So… to kick off our blog, please enjoy this collection of cherished memories from last year’s Cabo wedding weekend. #Caboversary #StillToastingTheTurners
